Reloading Software for Rifle, Pistol & Shotgun Handloaders

Log every reloading session, keep a searchable library of your bullets, shot, powders, primers, and hulls or cartridges, and develop accurate loads — smokeless or black powder — all in one place built for the bench.

No credit card required.

Everything You Need at the Reloading Bench

From your component library to chronograph data, HandloaderPro keeps every detail of your handloading data organized and searchable.

Reloading Session Logging

Record every detail of your reloading sessions — charge weights, seating depths, chronograph velocities, group sizes, and bench notes — and find any load you've ever built in seconds.

Component Library

Catalog every bullet, shot, powder, primer, wad, hull, and cartridge you load with — manufacturer, weight, and full specs — so each component is a click away and ready to drop into your next load.

Load Development

Build and refine load recipes over time. Compare sessions side by side to find the most accurate combinations — powder charge, seating depth, and primer for rifle and pistol, or shot, wad, primer, and powder charge for shotshell — smokeless or black powder.

Load Data Provenance

Link every session to its published load data source — manual, online manufacturer data, or your own work — so you always know where a starting load came from and how it evolved.

Multi-Caliber & Multi-Gauge Workflow

Manage load data across every caliber and gauge you shoot — 6.5 Creedmoor, .308, 9mm, .45-70, 12 and 20 gauge, and beyond — without losing track of what's working in which firearm.

Your Data Stays Yours

Account-based security keeps your load development data private. No marketplace, no shared feeds — your recipes are visible to you alone.

Built for the Way Handloaders Actually Work

Precision Rifle Shooters

Develop and document loads node by node. Track velocity standard deviation, group sizes, and seating-depth tests across barrels and seasons.

Pistol & Handgun Reloaders

Log plinking, defensive, and competition handgun loads with the same recipe detail — powder charge, primer, brass, and bullet — for every caliber you shoot.

Shotgun & Clay Shooters

Track shotshell reloads by gauge — shot, wad, hull, primer, and powder charge — so your trap, skeet, sporting clays, and field loads are all in one log.

Hunters & Field Shooters

Keep a permanent record of the hunting loads you trust — what worked, what didn't, and which components you'll pick up next.

Competitive Reloaders

Track match-grade ammo data with the rigor it deserves. Repeatable results start with repeatable records.

Black Powder Cartridge Shooters

Reloading black powder cartridges or shotshells? Log charges in grains or drams alongside your smokeless loads — cowboy action, BPCR, and classic calibers all belong here.

Built by a Handloader, for Handloaders

HandloaderPro started at a reloading bench, not in a boardroom. It exists because spreadsheets and spiral notebooks aren't a good way to track years of load development data — and because reloading data is too personal to hand to a third-party marketplace.

It's developed as a focused tool for handloaders who want their session history, components, and recipes in one private, searchable place.

Common questions

Does HandloaderPro sell my reloading data?

No. HandloaderPro does not aggregate, sell, or share your data, and does not feed it to AI services or marketing platforms. Your sessions, components, and recipes are visible to you alone.

Does HandloaderPro handle rifle, pistol, and shotgun reloading?

Yes. HandloaderPro supports rifle, pistol, and shotgun (shotshell) reloading, with both smokeless and black powder loads. Rifle and pistol sessions track bullet, powder charge, primer, brass, and seating depth; shotgun sessions track shot, wad, hull, primer, and powder charge. It is one log for everything you reload.

Can I track multiple calibers and gauges in one place?

Yes. HandloaderPro is multi-caliber and multi-gauge from day one. Whether you reload 6.5 Creedmoor, .308 Winchester, .223 Remington, 9mm, .45-70, 12 gauge, 20 gauge, or all of the above, sessions and components stay organized per cartridge, gauge, and component.

Can I import my existing spreadsheets or notebook?

Manual entry is the current path. CSV import is on the roadmap. Your reloading data is exportable from HandloaderPro at any time, so you are never locked in.

How is HandloaderPro different from a spreadsheet or a notebook?

Spreadsheets and notebooks are not searchable across years of load development, and they do not connect components to sessions. HandloaderPro is purpose-built for the way handloaders actually work: sessions, recipes, and your component library linked together with full history attached to every load.

Do I need a credit card to try it?

No. The free account is genuinely free and no credit card is required to start logging your reloading sessions.

Who builds HandloaderPro?
